Dewbridge Theatre – small but prestigious, with a reputation for avantgarde productions.

And the Dewbridge Advertiser, where Peter Higgins scratches around to find something interesting to write about.

Saturday, 2nd November, 1968, the day when everything normal, predictable and safe, comes to an end.

Based on real events, this is a story of anger; how variably it is expressed, how it spirals out of control and how, in its aftermath, it changes people’s lives irrevocably.

Against a background of obsessive love and sexual tension, and through psychological and therapeutic encounters, it is also a story of how past experiences shape the present and how, given enough provocation, prior disposition or instability, a person can be driven to do the unthinkable ‒ commit murder.

Tashika Cecchetti has a background in the theatre but is now a psychotherapist working with adults, teens and children. She describes her books as eclectic, with an emphasis on psychological issues. She lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband and two cats. This is her fourth novel.
