Bev’s had a varied and rewarding career spanning thirty four years in manufacturing, retail, local government, as CEO of a charity and almost ten years in professional services, with two of the top four global accountancy firms. This breadth of experience is unusual for someone in her line of work. She understands what it takes to successfully lead a business, engaging people and their ownership of a shared vision, then supporting them to be the best they can be, to play their part.
She’s now been dedicated to coaching with her own business, Unlocked Ltd, for almost three years, helping business leaders to become more successful through high quality coaching in three key areas: 1-2-1 coaching and mentoring, leadership team development and supporting men and women to get the most from each other as business leaders.
One of Bev’s key strengths is her ability to use and transfer her experiential learning. Knowing how important it is to manage yourself and those who influence your career progression, she’s shared many aspects of learning from her own personal experiences as a leader, a mother, a business woman and a coach to many great business leaders and to those destined for future leadership.
Bev has a wide variety of clients, mirroring the breadth of her career. Her clients include Santander, Barclays, PwC, Deloitte, Town Centre Securities, Rex Proctor and Partners, Groundwork Leeds, Shulmans, Ward Hadaway, Police Superintendents Association for England and Wales and St Gemma’s Hospice.
Unlocked has grown purely on recommendation and reputation which is evidenced in the levels of repeat business and an increased demand to be a keynote speaker, on subjects such as business sustainability and succession.
She has recently finished writing her first book (Unlocking You) which will be available from May. The book has been written to help you to begin to unlock you, tackle the causes (and not the symptoms) of your business challenges, increase your self-confidence and ability to ‘sell’ yourself, become confident with the unknown, be agile, question limiting beliefs, challenge self-imposed barriers and close the gap between what you say and what you do.
